Water Cooler Musical Heads to Singapore

everyone should sing about the plumbed in water coolerA (possibly expectedly) hit musical, which is based upon the lives of office staff as they chat/gossip/laugh/cry around the plumbed in water cooler, moved further afield at the end of last month afield, arriving in Singapore for a week-long run at one of the city’s theatres. “The Water Coolers” proved to be irresistible to American audiences when it was an eight-year off-Broadway tour around the States and Canada, and the cast and crew were hoping that they would be met with the same enthusiasm in South East Asia. Taking recognisable situations that we, as ordinary folk, face every day in the office, the comedy comes from nodding to one’s self, as you see the characters trying to avoid the talker, chat up the office hottie, and, of course, get in the boss’s good books.
Maybe you were in Singapore around the end of November and thus headed to see this plumbed in water cooler extravaganza; if so, you must be sure to write and tell us all about it. Perhaps you’ve been lucky enough to already see the show in the States or Canada, and think a review would fit in well with the rest of our blog instalments. Whatever you’d like to contribute, or if you’d like some more information about our plumbed in water cooler service, please do get in touch- we always love to hear from you!
