Make Music with your Plumbed in Water Cooler

make music with your plumbed in water coolerAnother day in the office. It’s the same old story; Trevor has some sort of dull anecdote from the weekend, and Babs is refusing to share her homemade flapjacks. You’ve read all your emails, beaten your solitaire score, and prank called your next door neighbour. It’s time to spice things up a little. You notice the office plumbed in water cooler sitting innocently in the corner….for those of you wondering where this is going, this week, dear reader, we thought we’d suggest a cool and funky way to make music using only some glass bottles and water from the cooler. All you need to do is fill up your milk/wine/cider containers with different amounts of water, and place them in water-level height order. Then, at your leisure and depending on how musically inclined you are, take your lips to the rim of each bottle in turn (or in no particular order) and make a sweet, sweet tune. For extra wow-factor, and to ensure that a) Trev stops talking and b) Babs shares her flapjack with you as a congratulatory gesture, why not add food colouring to the liquid. It’ll be just like you’re in a disco…of sorts.
If you have any other boredom-busting activities you’d like to share with us, or even just work in a really exciting office where none of these plumbed in water cooler pastimes are necessary, please do get in touch- we always love to hear your stories.
