Let’s face, when you’ve spent all day the office, crunching numbers or filtering junk mail, beating your Solitaire score and chatting around the plumbed in water cooler, the only thing you want to do is head out on the town, unwind, and have a good old laugh about the tough day you’ve just survived. For those lucky New York residents, there was the opportunity to literally live through their working day all over again on the night of September 12th, as the Englert Theatre welcomed an innovative and exciting production of ‘The Water Coolers’, a satirical treat of observational comedy, all taken from the world of around the office water cooler. Audiences had the opportunity to laugh and shake their heads in sympathy (for themselves, perhaps) as recognisable characters such as the incomprehensible IT guy, the office hottie, as well as the pushy parent constantly selling stuff for their child’s school, partook in sketches and songs that were enough to induce laughter in the hardest to please.
If you found yourself in the Big Apple around the time of the show, we’d love to hear your reviews, what you thought of the singing, and, most importantly, whether it reflected your own plumbed in water cooler experiences. Or, if you’d like any more information about our products or our service, please do get in touch and one of our team will be on hand to help. We look forward to hearing from you!
