EPDWA becomes the EDWCA

The EDWCA logoAs members of the self-regulating industry body the EPDWA – European Point-of-use Drinking Water Association, has today announced that it is changing it’s name to the EDWCA – European Drinking Water Cooler Association.

This change will make no difference to customers and those who rely on the EPDWA brand for assurances regarding the quality standards of the water cooler company they are dealing with. For many customers the phrase “Point of Use” is also confusing and removing this from the associations name is an important step in aligning the new brand with end-user knowledge.

“Although as an association we have now formally included Bottled and Boxed Water, the EDWCA will of course continue to promote first and foremost the development of the fast growing POU business everywhere.”

The Water Cooler Company look forward to working alongside the new association.
