Finding love at the office water cooler

Sometimes it feels like time is running away with us, that we are getting no younger, that our friends are finding love/being swept off their feet by a knight in shining armour/getting stuck into their happy ending and generally being smug about the whole thing. If it feels like opportunities for discovering that special someone are few and far between, look no further than the office water cooler. Yes, it may sound like a cliché, but as we all know, clichés are based on facts.
So, follow these easy steps, and we can (almost) guarantee success in love.
1) Spot your target. Let’s take Geoff in accounts, for example. He loves figures (the numeric kind), and has great taste in tie/shirt combos.
2) Approach the cooler as he is pouring himself a drink. Maybe try an irresistible opening line such as “Great nozzles, don’t you think?”. He will be powerless to your charms.
3) Watch over the next few days as he flexes his muscles right in front of your desk, showing you that he can change the 19 litre bottle all by himself. Or, if you are trying to attract a lady, try this technique for yourself.
4) Begin planning your wedding. You may as well; it’s only a matter of time.
It may seem like an unromantic location, but the office water cooler can be an incredibly beautiful (and convenient) meeting place.
