Today we had our attention drawn towards a very high end water dispenser from a company in France called the Aquaovo.
Videos speak a thousand words and you can see the product video below. It may be in French but it is easy to get an idea of the function and style of the product from this.
The Aquaovo is an original form of the classic filtration unit. Inspired by the pioneering work of water research, it promotes circulation and regeneration of water.
Its overall look is symbolic of abundance, purity, rebirth, and infinity. Its seductive curves and the use of noble materials such as porcelain, glass and metal reflect our dedication to aesthetics and quality.
At the heart of the AQUAOVO experience is OVOPUR, our revitalizing water filter. An offline gravitational filter that solves the problem of drinking water quality in urban environments. Designed by Canadian designer and water advocate Manuel Desrochers, OVOPUR is made from materials that fuse age-old traditions with tomorrow’s trends. With its natural, innovative design and resolutely green approach, OVOPUR is a real breath of fresh air in the stuffy, gray world of water filtration units.
The Water Cooler Company see the Aquaovo as a modern take on the classic ceramic water dispenser which we have been selling to home/small business customers since 2003. The use of high end design does little to justify the price tag which is around $700 and available ‘soon’ from www.aquaovo.com.
There are better ways to spend your money if you are looking for a functional hydration unit, however if you are looking for a high-end designer piece that will add style to your office or home then the Aquaovo, the Niagara Top 180 and the Jacob Jensen inspired Enki water cooler are really the only options available in the UK at the moment
