There are few things that are more exciting and thrilling than when a celebrity does something useful for a great charity, particularly when the charity works to provide water filters for those who need them most, just like the ones you’ll find in your plumbed in water cooler.Long-time model and actress Pamela Anderson, mostly known for looking pretty in a red swimsuit on the ‘Baywatch’ set, has recently donated the entirety of her Playboy cover fee to Waves 4 Water, a charity that holds a special place in her heart. Their work includes distributing water filters to people who have no access to clean drinking water, something that we with our great plumbed in water cooler machines often take for granted. Some of the countries that Waves 4 Water have recently been working in include Pakistan, with people who’s livelihoods and health have been put in jeopardy by the flooding, and Haiti, helping survivors of the earth quake get the basic water they need.
